Terms of Use

Last updated: 16 May 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MenuDock website, hosted ordering storefronts, tenant admin web app, and the MenuDock Admin mobile applications (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who can use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old to create a MenuDock tenant account. The mobile admin app is intended for restaurant owners and staff authorised by their tenant. Customers ordering from a storefront use the storefront under that tenant's terms.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for any activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@menudock.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to break any law or infringe anyone's rights.
  • Upload malicious code, attempt to reverse-engineer the Service, or interfere with its operation.
  • Attempt to access data that belongs to another tenant.
  • Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited marketing.
  • Scrape, copy, or resell the Service without our written permission.

4. Tenant content and customer data

Tenants are responsible for the products, prices, menus, images, and policies they publish on their storefronts, and for handling their customers' personal data in compliance with applicable law. MenuDock acts as a processor for that tenant data.

5. Payments and fees

Payment processing is provided by Stripe and is subject to Stripe's terms. Subscription fees for the Service are billed in line with the plan you select. Refunds for end-customer orders are handled by the tenant.

6. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance and, where reasonable, will give advance notice.

7. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, or if continued operation would expose us or our other users to legal or security risk.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by MenuDock and protected by intellectual-property laws. You retain ownership of the content you upload; you grant us a limited licence to host and display it as needed to operate the Service for you.

9. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, MenuDock disclaims implied warranties and will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law (e.g. for death or personal injury caused by negligence).

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-product notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
