Account Deletion
Last updated: 16 September 2026
MenuDock is the online ordering platform operated by TheZNZ, who publish each restaurant's own ordering app on Google Play and the Apple App Store. You can delete your account and the personal data held with it at any time. There are two kinds of account, and they are deleted in different ways — find yours below.
- You ordered food from a restaurant— through the restaurant's own app or its ordering website. See part A.
- You run or work at a restaurant — you sign in to the MenuDock admin panel or the MenuDock Admin app (
com.menudock.admin). See part B.
A. Customers: apps published by TheZNZ
Each restaurant app has its own page, naming that app and its package. The instructions are the same in every one:
- Duman Pizza & Grill (uk.co.dumanpizzagrill.order)
- Qartol BBQ & Bar (uk.co.qartolrestaurant.order)
- The Shish (uk.co.theshish.order)
A1. Deleting your account in the restaurant's app
You do not need to contact anyone. In the restaurant's app, sign in, open Account and choose Delete account — the row appears once you are signed in. You will be asked to confirm, and the deletion happens immediately.
If you ordered as a guest, without signing in, there is no account to delete: guest orders are held by the restaurant as their own sales record, exactly like a paper receipt.
A2. What is deleted and what stays
Deleted straight away:
- Your saved delivery addresses.
- Your name, email address and phone number as held by that restaurant.
- The push notification tokens for your devices.
- Your sign-in itself, so you can no longer log in with that email or with Apple or Google.
Kept, deliberately:
- Your past orders. They are the restaurant's accounting record and their evidence in a card dispute, and UK tax law requires them to be kept for at least 6 years. The order keeps the delivery details it was placed with, because that is what the receipt said at the time.
You will also stop receiving marketing email, texts and app notifications from that restaurant. Ordering there again later starts a completely new account.
A3. If you order from more than one restaurant
Every restaurant TheZNZ publishes an app for holds your details separately, and deleting your account in one app deletes it only there. Your sign-in keeps working for any other restaurant you still have an account with, and is removed for good once the last one is deleted.
A4. If you cannot use the app
If you have lost access to your phone or cannot sign in, email support@menudock.co.uk from the address you ordered with, naming the restaurant. We will verify the request and delete the account for you within 30 days.
B1. Restaurant staff: how to request deletion
MenuDock accounts — the admin panel at menudock.co.uk and the MenuDock Admin app for Android and iOS — are deleted on request. Send an email to support@menudock.co.uk from the email address registered to your MenuDock account, with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
Please include:
- The email address linked to your MenuDock account.
- The name of your restaurant or tenant workspace (if you are a tenant admin).
- Confirmation that you want your account and personal data deleted.
We will verify the request, confirm by email, and complete the deletion within 30 days.
B2. Restaurant staff: what gets deleted
- Your account profile (name, email, hashed password, OAuth identifiers).
- Your authentication sessions and device push tokens.
- Personal preferences and settings stored against your user account.
B3. Restaurant staff: what is retained
For legal and accounting reasons we are required to retain certain records even after account deletion:
- Order and transaction records — retained for at least 6 years to meet UK accounting and tax obligations.
- Tenant business data— if you are a member of a tenant workspace, the tenant's own data (products, orders, customers) belongs to that tenant and is not deleted with your individual account. Tenant-level deletion can be requested by the tenant owner.
- Anonymised logs — security and debugging logs may contain references that are anonymised rather than deleted.
