Related products are the "You might also like" suggestions that show on a product's page on your storefront. Point customers at a side, a drink or a dessert while they're looking at a main, and the basket grows. This article shows you how to set them on a product's Related products tab.
Add related products
- Open the product from Catalog → Product and select the Related products tab.
- Use the search box, or scroll the list, and click a product to add it. Selected items move up into the Selected list at the top.
- Set the order with the Move up and Move down arrows, since customers see them in the order shown here.
- Press Save related products.

How many you can add
You can pick up to four products. The counter at the top of the Selected list shows how many you've used, for example "3/4", so you always know how much room is left. To swap one out, press the × next to it and add another.
What makes a good suggestion
The suggestions that earn their place tend to complement the dish rather than compete with it. On a burger, a side and a soft drink do more than another burger. On a pizza, garlic bread and a dessert round out the order. Keep them relevant and the average order value climbs without any hard selling.

Set related products but they're not appearing on your storefront? Both the main product and the suggested ones need to be visible to customers, so check the Visible on storefront toggle on each. Still stuck? Email support@menudock.co.uk with your store name and the product name.
