The MenuDock restaurant app can run in English, Turkish or French. You pick the language from the app, and it changes straight away. This article covers how to switch it and what it does and doesn't affect.
Change the language
- Open the Settings tab.
- Tap Language.
- Choose from the options, each with a radio button:
- English
- Türkçe
- Français
- Tap your choice. The app re-renders in that language right away, so the tabs, buttons and labels all switch over.

What this changes, and what it doesn't
This sets the language of the app's own interface only. A few things to be clear on:
- It does not change your storefront's language. What your customers see when they order is set separately on the web admin, not here.
- It does not change the language of order details or product names. Those come through as your menu and your customers entered them.
- It is device-local. The choice is stored on the phone or tablet you set it on, so it doesn't sync to your other devices or to the web admin.
Because it's per device, each phone or tablet can run in a different language. A new device starts in its default and you set the language on it separately. The app language and the new-order sound alert are the two settings that live on the device rather than on your account.
When to change this
Set the language to suit whoever is using the device. If different staff share one tablet and prefer different languages, the setting is quick to change between shifts, so pick whatever helps the person on now read the screen at a glance.
