Content pages are the legal and information pages linked from the footer of your storefront: your Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions and Allergy Information. MenuDock provides a platform default for each, and you can replace any of them with your own wording. This article shows you how.
Open the editor
- In the sidebar, open Settings → Content Pages.
- Across the top are three tabs: Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions and Allergy Information. Each tab carries a badge: Default (using the platform text) or Custom (you've supplied your own).
- Each page tells you where it shows on your storefront, for example "Shown on your storefront at
/privacy."

There are three pages and no "About" page; these are the three that matter for UK ordering compliance and that link from your footer.
Use the default or write your own
Each page has a Use default / Customize toggle:
- Use default — the storefront shows MenuDock's default text for that page. This view is read-only. Where a page has no default text, it tells you so and points you to Customize.
- Customize — you write your own content in a plain-text box. If you've saved your own text for that page before, it loads here ready to edit; otherwise you start with an empty box. Write your content, then press Save changes.
The editor is plain text. Line breaks are kept when the page renders on your storefront, so use blank lines to separate paragraphs. There's no rich formatting here; the goal is clear, readable policy text.
To go back to the platform version, switch the page to Use default and press Save changes. Your custom text is cleared for that page.
Where they link on the storefront
All three pages link from the footer at the bottom of every storefront page, labelled Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions and Allergy Information. They live at these addresses:
| Page | Storefront address |
|---|---|
| Privacy Policy | /privacy |
| Terms & Conditions | /terms |
| Allergy Information | /allergens |

When to change this
Customize a page when you have your own legal wording, a policy your accountant or solicitor prepared, or specific allergy guidance for your kitchen. If you're happy with the platform defaults, leave the page on Default and it stays current without any work from you.
