If you connect a till system like Square, your menu items can sync into MenuDock automatically. Those items are "POS-synced products": they originate in your POS, not in MenuDock. This article explains how they behave and why you manage them differently from products you create here.
Where POS connections live
POS integrations are set up under Integrations → POS provider, and they're a Business plan feature. The sync is two-way: your catalogue (items, prices) syncs down into MenuDock, and online orders push back up to your till. Each provider has its own card where you can request access and connect.

Your POS is the source of truth
This is the important part. For a product that came from your POS, the POS owns its details. The price and name sync from there, and a later sync can overwrite changes you make in MenuDock. So if you edit a synced product's price here, the next sync may quietly put it back to whatever the till says.
The practical rule: make catalogue changes (names, prices, new items) in your POS, and let them flow down. Use MenuDock for the things the POS doesn't own, like the storefront image or the product's visibility.
Bulk import skips them
For the same reason, the CSV import leaves POS-synced products alone. When you import a file, any row that matches a synced product is skipped, with a note that it's POS-managed. That stops a spreadsheet upload from fighting with your till over who owns the price.
Telling them apart
Synced products carry a hidden marker recording which system they came from. The clearest signal in day-to-day use is the import preview, which labels them as skipped and POS-managed. If a product's price keeps reverting after you change it, that's the tell: it's syncing from your POS.
