Choose a theme

Choose a ready-made theme; each one sets your storefront’s colours and overall look.

Published June 2, 2026

A theme sets the look of your storefront: its background, accent colour, text colour and overall feel. MenuDock ships a gallery of ready-made themes, and each one comes with its own colour palette, so you pick a style and the colours come with it. This article shows you how to choose one.

Open the theme gallery

  1. In the sidebar, open Settings → Appearance.
  2. Scroll to the Theme section. The description reads "Choose the base layout for your storefront."
  3. You'll see a grid of theme cards, each with a small colour preview and a name.
  4. Click a card to select it. The chosen card gets a highlighted border and an Active badge.
  5. Press Save changes to apply it.

The Theme section on the Appearance page, showing a grid of theme cards with colour previews and names, with one card highlighted and marked Active.

What you can choose from

The gallery holds twelve themes. Two are full visual styles with their own typography and component look:

Theme Feel
Modern Dark background, bold red accent
Fresh Light background, clean blue accent

The other ten are colour presets built on the Modern style, each with a distinct palette:

Theme Palette
Olive Warm cream with olive green
Sunset Soft peach with burnt orange
Ocean Pale blue with deep sea blue
Midnight Deep purple with violet
Crimson Dark wine with hot pink
Mint Light mint with teal
Royal Indigo with gold
Coral Blush with coral pink
Forest Dark green with leaf green
Mocha Cream with warm brown

Each card's preview gives you the gist of the background and accent colour before you commit.

The palette comes with the theme

You don't set individual colours on this page. The palette, the text colour and the corner rounding are all baked into the theme you pick. Choose the one that fits your brand and the rest follows.

When to change this

Switch themes when you want a different mood for your storefront, for a seasonal refresh, or because your brand colours line up better with one of the presets. The change applies to all your branches and takes effect as soon as you save. Try a couple and preview your storefront to see which reads best on a phone.
