You can give other people access to your MenuDock admin without sharing your own login. Each teammate gets their own sign-in, a role that sets what they can do, and (for some roles) a list of which branches they can see. This article covers inviting someone, picking their role, and managing or removing them later.
Only an Owner can manage the team. If you sign in with another role, the Team page won't appear in your menu.
Where it is
Open Settings → Team from the admin sidebar. The page lists everyone with access to your store: their name, email, role, scope (which locations), status, and the date they were invited.

Invite someone
- Press Invite teammate in the top right.
- Fill in their first name, last name and email. The email is where their sign-in is tied, so use one they check.
- Pick a role. Each option shows a one-line summary of what that role can do. See What each role can do for the full breakdown.
- Set the scope if the role allows it (see below).
- Choose an invite method, then press Send invite.

Scope: which locations they see
Scope only appears if you run more than one branch (a Business-plan feature). It controls which locations a teammate can work in.
- Owner always has access to every location, so there's no scope choice.
- Manager and Viewer can be set to All locations (brand-wide) or Specific locations you tick.
- Staff must be assigned to at least one location. The invite won't send without one.
If you only have a single branch, MenuDock skips the scope step and assigns the one location automatically.
Invite method
You choose how the person gets in:
- Email invite link sends a one-click sign-in link to their inbox. Best when they can pick it up themselves.
- Set temporary password lets you set (or generate) a password so MenuDock creates the account straight away. You see the password once after submitting, so copy it and pass it on directly. It isn't shown again.
Manage and remove
Back on the Team page, each row has its own controls:
- Edit opens the same dialog to change someone's name, role or scope. You can't change their email here.
- Resend invite appears next to anyone still showing Pending (they haven't accepted yet). It sends a fresh link.
- Remove revokes access immediately. You're asked to confirm first.
A teammate shows Pending until they sign in for the first time, then flips to Active. The temporary-password method marks them Active right away, since the account already exists.
A couple of rules to know
- You can't remove or demote the last Owner of a store. MenuDock blocks it so a store is never left with no one who can manage billing or team. Promote someone else to Owner first if you need to step back.
- An email already tied to another MenuDock store can't be added to yours. Use a different address for that person.
