Reports and CSV export

Export any analytics page to CSV (Pro and Business) and set up scheduled email reports.

Published June 2, 2026

There are two ways to get analytics out of MenuDock and into a spreadsheet or your inbox: download a CSV from any of the main analytics pages, or have summary reports emailed to you on a schedule. This article covers both.

Both are open to owners and managers only.

Download a CSV

The Sales, Orders, Products and Customers pages each have a Download CSV button next to the date range picker. The export covers whatever you're currently looking at: it uses the same date range you've selected, so set the range first, then export.

  1. Open Sales, Orders, Products or Customers.
  2. Set the date range you want.
  3. Press Download CSV. The file downloads with a name based on your store and the page.

What each page exports:

Page CSV contents
Sales One row per day: date, gross, discounts, refunds, net, tips, delivery fees, orders, average order value.
Orders One row per order: number, date, time, status, type, payment method, total, customer name and email.
Products One row per product: product, quantity, revenue, average price, orders, cancellation rate. (Modifiers are not included.)
Customers One row per customer: name, email, orders, total spent, average order value, last order date.

The Overview and Kitchen pages have no CSV export.

CSV export is a Pro and Business feature

CSV export is part of the Pro and Business plans. On Starter the Download CSV button is still shown but disabled, with a tooltip prompting you to upgrade. Upgrading switches it on with no further setup. See Plan comparison for what each plan includes, and Change your plan to upgrade.

Scheduled email reports

The Reports page (Analytics → Reports) lets you have summary reports emailed to you automatically, so you don't have to log in to keep an eye on trade. Reports go only to the admins who opt in, and each admin manages their own subscriptions.

The report templates

Report Covers
Daily summary Yesterday's revenue, orders, top 5 products, and the trend vs. the day before.
Weekly summary The last finished week: gross, net, orders and the top 5 products.
Monthly summary The last calendar month, against the previous month.
Product performance Top 10 products over the last 30 days, plus slow movers.
Customer report The last 30 days: unique customers, returning rate and top spenders.

Subscribe to a report

  1. Open Analytics → Reports.
  2. Find the report you want and set its Schedule dropdown to a cadence. Daily summary fires daily; weekly reports go out on Mondays; monthly reports on the 1st. Product and customer reports allow weekly or monthly. Set it back to Off to stop receiving it.

Your choice saves as soon as you pick it. Reports are emailed to the address on your admin account.

Set the dispatch hour (owners)

Owners can set the hour of day when scheduled reports go out, in the restaurant's time zone, using the Dispatch hour field at the top of the page. It defaults to 9 (09:00). Managers can subscribe to reports but can't change the dispatch hour.

Send one now

Each report has a Send to me now button. Press it to email yourself the latest version straight away, which is handy for checking what a report looks like before you commit to a schedule.

When to change this

Start with a daily or weekly summary to your own inbox, and add the product or customer reports once you know what you want to track. If reports stop arriving, check the schedule is still set (not on Off) and that your account email is current.
