When you run more than one branch, most admin pages show one branch at a time. The location switcher in the top bar is how you pick which branch you're looking at. This article explains where the switcher is, what it controls, and what the "All locations" view means for orders, analytics and your menu.
Where the switcher is
The location switcher sits in the admin top bar, next to your account details, on every page. It's a dropdown showing the branches you're allowed to see. Open it and pick a branch to make it the active one.

Your choice sticks as you move around the admin, so once you set it to a branch, the pages that respect it keep showing that branch until you change it.
What the switcher controls
The switcher sets the branch for pages that are branch-specific. The clearest examples:
- Opening hours: you edit the hours for whichever branch is selected.
- Integrations and payment: you connect Stripe or Square for the selected branch.
- Settings that live on a location: these apply to the selected branch.
Set the switcher to the branch you mean to change before you start editing, so you don't set a payment account or hours on the wrong site.
What "All locations" means
If you can see the whole brand (which the account owner can), the switcher offers All locations as well as each branch. Picking it gives you a brand-wide view rather than a single branch:
- Orders: you see orders from every branch together, rather than one branch's queue.
- Analytics: the figures cover the whole brand. Switch to a single branch to read that branch's numbers on their own. Analytics also has its own location filter for this, covered in Analytics overview.
- Menu: you work on the shared menu that all branches draw from. Per-branch differences still come from location overrides on the product.
Some pages are single-branch by nature and don't accept "All locations" (opening hours and a branch's payment setup, for instance). On those, the active branch is whichever you last picked.
Brand-wide versus single-branch access
Not everyone sees the whole brand. The account owner gets the full list plus "All locations". Team members can be scoped to specific branches, in which case the switcher only offers their branches and there's no "All locations" option. If a member is tied to a single branch, the switcher just shows that branch's name with no dropdown, because there's nothing to switch between.

Need a hand?
If a change you made shows up on the wrong branch, it usually means the switcher was set elsewhere when you saved. Set it to the right branch and redo the change. If the switcher is missing entirely on a Business account, you're probably scoped to a single branch, and your account owner can widen your access.
